The Bachelor of Science in Public Health is a four-year professional degree focused on improving community health through education, policy, and preventive healthcare practices. The program covers key areas such as epidemiology, environmental health, health policy, and disease prevention. Students gain practical experience in health promotion, research, and community outreach programs. BS Public Health graduates play a crucial role in addressing public health challenges and promoting healthier lifestyles. Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s):

To produce competent, committed and skilled public health professionals with sound knowledge of public health that will improve public health auxiliary and support services.

To prepare leadership role in public health workers.

To promote and administer public health policies and programs.

To produce professional health workers who can confidently participate in efforts to improve the health of the community using preventive services.

To train graduates in the conduction of basic and applied research and intervention for resolution of health problems in the human community.

Program Outcomes:

Graduates will demonstrate and solve health related problems within financial, socio-cultural, environmental, ethical and political framework of community.

Graduates will be able to plan, manage and evaluate interventions in the field of public health.

Graduates will be efficient in communicating public health messages to diverse audiences of the community.

Graduates will share competency in advocating public health interventions and practices.

Graduates will demonstrate effectively the role of leadership in the field of public health and plan the projects keeping in view after evaluation of research.

Eligibility

Candidates with F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Candidates with a Diploma in the relevant field with at least 50% marks in the annual system or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 in the semester system, duly registered by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad are eligible to apply.
Candidates will have to appear in an entry test to be conducted by any Registered Testing Agency or University.
Candidates will appear in an interview to be conducted by the University.

Procedure to Apply In-Person

Visit the Admission Office located at the Main Campus in Peshawar.
Obtain the Admission Form from the Admission Office.
Carefully and accurately complete all sections of the Admission Form.
Attach all the required documents and submit the form at the Admission Office.

Sign up on the Online Admission Portal by providing the required information.
Sign in to your account using the credentials you created during sign-up.
Browse through the available programs and select the one you wish to apply for.
Fill in your personal details accurately.
Provide all necessary educational information.
Upload clear and readable copies of the required documents.
Download and print the Admission Processing Fee Challan.
Submit the fee at your nearest JS Bank Branch (branch details are available on the portal).
Upload a copy of the paid fee receipt to the portal.
Carefully preview all the entered information and documents.
Submit your application once you are sure everything is correct.
