The MPhil in Microbiology is a postgraduate research-based program that provides in-depth knowledge of microorganisms and their roles in health, disease, industry, and the environment. The curriculum covers advanced topics in bacteriology, virology, mycology, immunology, molecular biology, and microbial genetics. Students engage in laboratory research and thesis work focused on solving real-world microbiological problems. The program is designed to develop strong analytical, research, and laboratory skills.
