The Faculty of Sciences, Computer Science & IT at Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology stands at the intersection of analytical rigor, scientific inquiry, and digital innovation. The Faculty includes two dynamic departments: Computer Science & IT, and Mathematics. The Department of Mathematics provides a strong foundation in pure and applied mathematics, emphasizing logic, analysis, and problem-solving—skills vital across disciplines such as engineering, economics, and computing.

As a Dean, it is my honor to introduce you to our dynamic departments of Computer Science and Mathematics. We all know Computer science is a rapidly growing field with significant impacts on economic development and societal progress. Our Computer Sciences cover key areas like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, Data Science, and Software Engineering, designed to meet the demands of today’s technology-driven world. We are offering MS and PhD in AI, Software Engineering, Computer Sciences. Our commitment to excellence in computing education, spans across various graduate, and PhD programs, fostering a rich learning environment for scholars at every level.
With qualified Ph.D faculty members from esteemed national and international universities, we offer a curriculum that aligns with global standards, including Outcome-Based Education (OBE) as per the Seoul Accord. We collaborate with industries to ensure our students gain practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge, preparing them for successful careers. All our programs are accredited by the HEC Computing Council (NCEAC).
Our department is equipped with modern labs and infrastructure, and we regularly host seminars, workshops, and conferences featuring leading experts. We aim to produce graduates who are not only skilled in the latest technologies but also responsible citizens.
Our Mathematics department part sciences is looked after a qualified PhD faculty teaching to the MPhil and PhD classes.
