Everyone in the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences & Education at Sarhad University is committed to delivering the very best educational experience possible for our students. We are constantly adopting innovations in our way of teaching in order to make your time with us even better.

For students entering our programs in 2025-26, we are developing a dedicated model of small group teaching and personal attention that will help you realize your full potential while you study with us. Your first year of study will be underpinned by a formative experience which will gain key knowledge and skills in your chosen subject through participation in personal tutorials and small group teachings, along with lectures, seminars, and other forms of innovative teaching as well as an extensive extra-curricular program of events and talks.

In the subsequent years, you will maintain the personal contacts made with the staff in your first year as you work towards developing into an independent learner capable of extended, critical work on your own, again working with personal tutors in cutting-edge teaching methodologies.

Our landmark initiative is to bring in a joint educational system for both genders even in the increasingly volatile geo-political environment we are living in, specifically in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has often been the victim of social and religious sentiments. We are thus producing leaders and teachers leading to creating a tolerant and progressive society.

As Dean of Faculty, I have high expectations of all our staff, as we seek to realize our ambitions to have all of our departments recognized as amongst Pakistan’s very best for teaching and research. Equally, I have high expectations of our students and expect them to dedicate themselves to their studies as well as enjoying the social benefits of attending this leading University.

The downward changes we have had in our fee structure are meant to offer an affordable education without compromising on quality. Sarhad University takes care of the wider needs. In turn, we are looking for committed students who will take their place in the world as productive citizens and graduates of our unique educational experience.
