The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design is a four-year degree program that combines creativity, aesthetics, and functionality to design interior spaces that enhance living and working environments. The curriculum covers space planning, architectural drafting, furniture design, color theory, lighting, materials, sustainable design, and advanced software like AutoCAD and 3D modeling. Students gain hands-on experience through studio work, real-world projects, and internships. The program nurtures both artistic vision and technical expertise. BS Interior Design graduates are prepared for careers as interior designers, space planners, design consultants, and project coordinators in architecture firms, design studios, and the construction industry.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s):

Graduate acquiring to establish functional, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing spaces in various setups.

Graduate contributes significantly to the economy and helps meet the demand for skills professionals.

Program Outcomes:

Students will learn to work with cutting-edge design software, building information modelling and other technologies transforming the field.

Students get the knowledge and skills, including spatial reasoning, material selection and building layouts for different requirements.

Student communication & collaboration skills will be develop for effective client and team interactions.

Eligibility

  • 4 Years: Candidates holding Intermediate certificate with at least 45% marks or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
  • 2 Years: Candidates holding Associate Degree in relevant discipline with at least 45% marks or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 from a recognized institution are eligible to apply. The scheme from 5th till 8th Semester will be followed.
  • 2.5 Years: Candidates holding Bachelor degree (14 years of education) with at least 45% marks or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 from a recognized institution are eligible to apply. After Bridge Semester, the scheme from 5th till 8th Semester will be followed.
  • Candidates will be required to pass an entry test or an aptitude interview conducted by the university.

Procedure to Apply In-Person

  • Visit the Admission Office located at the Main Campus in Peshawar.
  • Obtain the Admission Form from the Admission Office.
  • Carefully and accurately complete all sections of the Admission Form.
  • Attach all the required documents and submit the form at the Admission Office.

Procedure to Apply Online

  1. Visit the website: form.suit.edu.pk.
  2. Sign up on the Online Admission Portal by providing the required information.
  3. Sign in to your account using the credentials you created during sign-up.
  4. Browse through the available programs and select the one you wish to apply for.
  5. Fill in your personal details accurately.
  6. Provide all necessary educational information.
  7. Upload clear and readable copies of the required documents.
  8. Download and print the Admission Processing Fee Challan.
  9. Submit the fee at your nearest JS Bank Branch (branch details are available on the portal).
  10. Upload a copy of the paid fee receipt to the portal.
  11. Carefully preview all the entered information and documents.
  12. Submit your application once you are sure everything is correct.
