The Diploma in Drawing Master is a specialized program designed to develop artistic skills and teaching techniques in the field of visual arts. The curriculum focuses on drawing, sketching, painting, art history, and classroom art instruction methods. Students learn various artistic styles and mediums while gaining hands-on experience in creating and teaching artwork. This diploma prepares individuals to teach art at the primary and secondary school levels. Career opportunities include roles as art teachers, drawing instructors, freelance artists, and art facilitators in schools, art centers, and community education programs.

Program Objectives :

Equip drawing teachers with a high level of professional skills.
Help teachers add an artistic taste for elementary school children to their role as drawing masters.
Improve teachers' classroom performance by adopting instructional methods relevant to local situations in both urban and rural areas of arts and drawing.
Provide opportunities to develop skills of curriculum planning, evaluation, creativity, and problem solving of contemporary issues.
Offer learning opportunities to potential drawing teachers so that, after one year, they are able to work with Middle and Secondary school students.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

Understand the visualization process of translating three-dimensional space and form onto a two-dimensional format, develop competence in dry-media techniques and demonstrate craftsmanship in the end product (drawing).
Identify the three components of art, understand the vocabulary of art and of two-dimensional design, and utilize design strategies and techniques to produce a product that demonstrates craftsmanship and presentation (design).
Discover the creative process and how it can be applied to everyday life, develop technical skill in various media, and explore the world of aesthetics (personal enrichment).

Eligibility

Admission is open to candidates who have passed the Intermediate examination from a recognized board of intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan, or any other equivalent examination, with at least 45% marks at SSC / HSSC level.
