The Associate Degree in Interior Design is a two-year program that introduces students to the fundamentals of designing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. The curriculum includes space planning, color theory, furniture design, lighting, materials, drafting, and digital design tools like AutoCAD and 3D modeling software. Students gain hands-on experience through design projects and studio work, developing both technical and creative skills. The program prepares graduates to create comfortable and visually appealing environments. Career opportunities include roles as interior design assistants, space planners, visual merchandisers, and junior designers in design firms, architecture studios, and real estate development companies.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s):

Graduate is equipped with the basic knowledge of interior design field with technical skills.

Graduate visualize concepts through sketching, plan a space, create an ambiance and understand interior design concepts.

Program Outcomes:

Students will be capable to demonstrate knowledge and an understanding of basic ethical and relevant areas of the interior design profession.

Develop students understanding of human behaviors, needs and responses to various interior environments.

Students will know about different tools and working process to learn technical skills.

Eligibility

  • Candidates holding Intermediate certificate with at least 45% marks or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates need to pass an entry test or an aptitude interview conducted by the University.

Procedure to Apply In-Person

  • Visit the Admission Office located at the Main Campus in Peshawar.
  • Obtain the Admission Form from the Admission Office.
  • Carefully and accurately complete all sections of the Admission Form.
  • Attach all the required documents and submit the form at the Admission Office.

  1. Visit the website: form.suit.edu.pk.
  2. Sign up on the Online Admission Portal by providing the required information.
  3. Sign in to your account using the credentials you created during sign-up.
  4. Browse through the available programs and select the one you wish to apply for.
  5. Fill in your personal details accurately.
  6. Provide all necessary educational information.
  7. Upload clear and readable copies of the required documents.
  8. Download and print the Admission Processing Fee Challan.
  9. Submit the fee at your nearest JS Bank Branch (branch details are available on the portal).
  10. Upload a copy of the paid fee receipt to the portal.
  11. Carefully preview all the entered information and documents.
  12. Submit your application once you are sure everything is correct.
