The Bachelor of Studies in Education is a four-year degree program designed to prepare future educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed for effective teaching and learning. The curriculum includes educational psychology, curriculum development, teaching methodologies, classroom management, and subject-specific pedagogy. Students gain practical experience through teaching practice and internships in real classroom settings. BS Education graduates are equipped to foster academic growth and personal development in students. Career opportunities include roles as school teachers, education coordinators, curriculum developers, and academic counselors in schools, colleges, and educational organizations.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s):

The Bachelor of Studies in Education Program has been crafted to equip the prospective teachers with the basic knowledge and skills of the field of education. The program also equips the students with the content knowledge of the selected disciplines in three streams including:

1. Biological Sciences

2. Languages

3. Physical Sciences

Program Outcomes:

After completion of the program, the prospective teachers will be able to:

Gain an insight of the basic knowledge of education

Internalize the conceptual understanding of the selected disciplines

Utilize the pedagogic skills in practical teaching

Gain and use managerial knowledge in educational administration

Practice quality research in education.

Eligibility

  • Candidates holding Intermediate certificate with at least 45% marks or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates need to pass an entry test or an aptitude interview conducted by the University.

Procedure to Apply In-Person

  • Visit the Admission Office located at the Main Campus in Peshawar.
  • Obtain the Admission Form from the Admission Office.
  • Carefully and accurately complete all sections of the Admission Form.
  • Attach all the required documents and submit the form at the Admission Office.

Procedure to Apply Online

  1. Visit the website: form.suit.edu.pk.
  2. Sign up on the Online Admission Portal by providing the required information.
  3. Sign in to your account using the credentials you created during sign-up.
  4. Browse through the available programs and select the one you wish to apply for.
  5. Fill in your personal details accurately.
  6. Provide all necessary educational information.
  7. Upload clear and readable copies of the required documents.
  8. Download and print the Admission Processing Fee Challan.
  9. Submit the fee at your nearest JS Bank Branch (branch details are available on the portal).
  10. Upload a copy of the paid fee receipt to the portal.
  11. Carefully preview all the entered information and documents.
  12. Submit your application once you are sure everything is correct.
