The BS Education (2 Years) Content-Based program is designed for individuals who have already completed 14 years of education (such as an Associate Degree or BA/BSc) and wish to specialize in subject-specific teaching. This program emphasizes both advanced content knowledge in a chosen subject area and effective teaching methodologies. The curriculum includes educational psychology, assessment techniques, curriculum planning, and classroom management, along with focused subject content. Students also gain practical experience through teaching practicum. Graduates are well-prepared for teaching positions in secondary and higher secondary schools, as well as roles in curriculum development and academic coordination.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s):

The Bachelor of studies in Education (2 Years) Program has been crafted to equip the prospective teachers with the basic knowledge and skills of the field of Education. The program also equips the students with the content knowledge of the selected disciplines in three steams including:

1. Biological Science

2. Languages

3. Physical Sciences

Program Outcomes:

After completing the program, the prospective teacher will be able to:

Gain an insight of the basic knowledge of Education

Internalize the conceptual understanding of the selected disciplines

Utilize the pedagogic skills in practical teaching

Gain and use managerial knowledge in education administration

Practice quality research in education

Eligibility

  • Candidates having Associate Degree in Education with at least 45% marks in Annual System or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 in semester system from any recognized university/DAI are eligible to apply.

Procedure to Apply In-Person

  • Visit the Admission Office located at the Main Campus in Peshawar.
  • Obtain the Admission Form from the Admission Office.
  • Carefully and accurately complete all sections of the Admission Form.
  • Attach all the required documents and submit the form at the Admission Office.

Procedure to Apply Online

  1. Visit the website: form.suit.edu.pk.
  2. Sign up on the Online Admission Portal by providing the required information.
  3. Sign in to your account using the credentials you created during sign-up.
  4. Browse through the available programs and select the one you wish to apply for.
  5. Fill in your personal details accurately.
  6. Provide all necessary educational information.
  7. Upload clear and readable copies of the required documents.
  8. Download and print the Admission Processing Fee Challan.
  9. Submit the fee at your nearest JS Bank Branch (branch details are available on the portal).
  10. Upload a copy of the paid fee receipt to the portal.
  11. Carefully preview all the entered information and documents.
  12. Submit your application once you are sure everything is correct.
