The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) 2.5 Years program is designed for individuals who have already completed an old BA/BSc or Associate Degree (non-education) 14 years of education and wish to pursue a professional teaching qualification. This intensive program focuses on advanced teaching methodologies, educational leadership, classroom management, and assessment techniques. It also includes a strong component of teaching practice in real classroom settings. The B.Ed 2.5 Years program equips graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to become effective educators and academic leaders. Career opportunities include roles as subject teachers, education officers, curriculum developers, and school administrators.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s):

Our B.Ed (2.5 years) program will enable the prospective teacher to :

Master Learner-centered and activities based teaching.

Change the traditional and obsolete type of teaching methodology with innovative instructional approaches.

Play active role in enhancement of literacy rate in the country.

Compete and contribute meaningfully in the field of education.

Address societal problems by thoughts and practices.

Program Outcomes:

To utilize skills in the field of education, teaching and teacher training.

To get the ability to work in groups and different social set ups.

To understand and utilize the basic knowledge of educational philosophy, educational psychology, management, curriculum and evaluation, along with researches.

To bring into practice the theoretical and conceptual knowledge.

To express thoughts and ideas through oral, written, and modern means of communications.

Eligibility

  • Candidates having 14 years of Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree (Non Education) with at least 45% marks in Annual System or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 in semester system from any recognized university/ DAI are eligible to apply.

Procedure to Apply In-Person

  • Visit the Admission Office located at the Main Campus in Peshawar.
  • Obtain the Admission Form from the Admission Office.
  • Carefully and accurately complete all sections of the Admission Form.
  • Attach all the required documents and submit the form at the Admission Office.

Procedure to Apply Online

  1. Visit the website: form.suit.edu.pk.
  2. Sign up on the Online Admission Portal by providing the required information.
  3. Sign in to your account using the credentials you created during sign-up.
  4. Browse through the available programs and select the one you wish to apply for.
  5. Fill in your personal details accurately.
  6. Provide all necessary educational information.
  7. Upload clear and readable copies of the required documents.
  8. Download and print the Admission Processing Fee Challan.
  9. Submit the fee at your nearest JS Bank Branch (branch details are available on the portal).
  10. Upload a copy of the paid fee receipt to the portal.
  11. Carefully preview all the entered information and documents.
  12. Submit your application once you are sure everything is correct.
