To equip prospective teachers with adequate knowledge of subject matter, contemporary pedagogies, communication skills, critical thinking and dispositions to be an elementary school teacher.
To offer students a teacher education program that allows them to move through a four year B.Ed, by completing part of the degree (ADE) and completing the remaining two years of the program immediately or by completing the additional year (s) at a later date.
