The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sports Sciences and Physical Education is a research-intensive program designed to advance knowledge in the fields of sports science, physical fitness, and physical education. The curriculum focuses on areas such as sports psychology, exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, sports nutrition, and sports management. PhD candidates conduct original research to explore and address complex issues in sports science and education, with an emphasis on enhancing athletic performance, improving public health, and advancing sports education practices. The program prepares graduates for high-level careers in academia, research institutions, sports organizations, and policy development.
