In order to record Video Lectures for onward provision to the registered students through its Distance Education Centers, the University has established eight well-equipped Video Lectures Recording Studios. The video lectures recorded by the Faculty members are edited in the Media Section by the Editing Staff. The concerned faculty members are then assigned to review their lectures and make necessary corrections in therein. The reviewed/edited lectures of a particular course are forwarded to the respective HoDs for their expert opinion. After having their expert opinion, the Media Section then forwards the Lectures to LMS Section for uploading on the LMS and You tube channels of the University for facilitation of the students.
The University also have a customized MOODLE based Learning Management System (LMS) that is continuously populated by the LMS Section of the University. Minimum features of functional Learning Management System (LMS) required for Virtual Instructions are available. The videos are received from Media Section and are uploaded on Student Portal. LMS section is also responsible to upload other learning material (in form of MS word, pdf & ppt files). User names and passwords for registered students are created accordingly enabling them to access teaching material uploaded by the University on the LMS. Assignments received from DECs are also populated on LMS by the same section.
