The Associate Degree in Library & Information Sciences is a two-year program that provides foundational knowledge and skills for managing and organizing information resources in libraries and information centers. The curriculum includes library classification, cataloging, reference services, information retrieval, digital libraries, and the use of library software and technology. Students learn how to manage both physical and digital collections, support research needs, and facilitate access to information. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles such as library assistants, information clerks, catalogers, and documentation officers in schools, colleges, universities, public libraries, and information centers.
