The President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. ArifAlvi, emphasized upon the need of technical education to be imparted to the youth of Pakistan for getting a respectable place in the comity of nations. This he said while addressing the 14 th Convocation of Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology, Peshawar held at Jinnah Convention Center, Islamabad today. Mr. Kamran Khan Bangash, Minister for Higher Education, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Prof. Dr. Salim-ur-Rehman, Vice Chancellor, Sarhad University, Peshawar, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, noted educationists of the country and a large number of graduating students and their parents also participated in the Convocation.
