The Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (AD MLT) is a two-year program that prepares students to perform diagnostic tests essential for disease detection and treatment. Eligibility

Candidates with HSSC (Pre-Medical / MLT) or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Candidate with Diploma in relevant field with at least 50% marks in annual system or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 in semester system with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad are eligible to apply.
Candidates will have to appear in an entry test to be conducted by any registered Testing Agency or University.
Candidates will appear in an interview to be conducted by the University.

Program Objectives and Program Outcomes

Program Learning Objectives:

The two-year AD MLT program will acquaint students with the knowledge in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology and its related academic and applied aspects. The program aims to prepare the students to effectively assist the senior health professionals in the delivery of quality health services from primary to the tertiary level.

Program Learning Outcomes:

The skilled graduates will efficiently and professionally discharge their duties in the functioning of a medical laboratory. The graduates will be able to assist the doctors in discharging their duty.
