Program overview
The Bachelor of Science in Textile & Fashion Design is a four-year degree program that combines artistic creativity with practical skills in fashion and textile innovation. The curriculum covers areas such as textile design, fashion illustration, fabric science, garment construction, digital design, fashion marketing, and trend forecasting. Students gain hands-on experience through studio work, design projects, and fashion shows, developing a strong professional portfolio. The program prepares graduates to lead in the ever-evolving fashion and textile industry. Career opportunities include roles as fashion designers, textile designers, fashion merchandisers, creative directors, and entrepreneurs in fashion houses, design studios, and global apparel brands.
Eligibility
- 4 Years: Candidates holding an Intermediate certificate with at least 45% marks, or A-Levels with IBCC equivalency, or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution.
- 2.5 Years: Candidates holding a Bachelor degree (14 years of education) with at least 45% marks in the annual system, or AD in a non-relevant discipline with 2.00 CGPA on a scale of 4.00. After the Bridge Semester, the scheme from 5th to 8th Semester is followed.
- 2 Years: Candidates holding an Associate Degree in a relevant discipline with at least 45% marks in the annual system or 2.00 CGPA on a scale of 4.00. The scheme from 5th to 8th Semester is followed.
- Candidates will be required to pass an entry test or an aptitude interview conducted by the university.
