An Art and Design Exhibition was held at Governor House, Peshawar.
The Governor, Khyber Pakhtuhkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, was the Chief Guest. Renowned Artist, Poet and Actor, Mr. Yousuf Bashir Qureshi (YBQ) was the Guest of Honour.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of students, academicians, TV & stage artists and elite of the City.
Different Public and Private Sector Universities including the Sarhad University, Peshawar took part in the exhibition. A stall of Sarhad University was also erected in the exhibition. The art pieces prepared by the students of Art & Design Department of Sarhad University were also included in the Exhibition.
The Governor while appreciating the efforts of the Universities, urged to hold more suchlike events, so that the students may get an opportunity to show case their art work.
Later, the Governor gave away shields to the organizers of the exhibition as a sign of recognition of their services for holding a beautiful exhibition in the Governor House, Peshawar
