The Higher Education Commission of Islamabad has issued NOC in favour of Allied Health Sciences Programs of Sarhad University, Peshawar, offered through Sarahd Institute of Allied Health Sciences.

On the recommendations of the HEC’s Inspection Team, which visited the University on 6th April, 2023, the HEC, vide his letter dated, 22ndMay, 2023, recognized the Allied Health Sciences Program, which include BS-Medical Lab Technology, BS-Surgical Technology, BS-Dental Technology, BS-Health Technology, BS-Public Health, BS-Radiology Technology, BS-Nutrition & Dietetics, BS-Anesthesia Technology, BS-Optometry Technology,BS-Cardiology Technology and DPT Programs.

Sarhad University is the first University of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Private Sector, which got this NOC from the HEC, based on the criteria of qualified faculty, well-established laboratories, well stocked library and other related succeeded and administrative facilities.

So far, the University has achieved to seek attachment of Naseerullah Khan Babar Memorial Hospital, Peshawar, Al-Khidmat Hospital, Peshawar, MMC General Hospital, Peshawar, Burns and Plastic Surgery Center, Peshawar and Institute of Kidney Diseases, Peshawar for the clinical practice of enrolled students in Allied Health Sciences Programs.

The Vice Chancellor, while recording his comments, termed it a big achievement in the history of the University. He hoped that with the recognition of these programs by HEC, the University will be able to add skilled and competent health professionals to the health care system of the country in general and for the Province in particular.
