Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology Peshawar recently organized a “Spring Festival and Sports Gala” to highlight the cross-curricular talents of the students. The week-long festival and gala encompassed variety of competitions including drama, poetry, debates, flower arrangement, project exhibition, mehndi designing, pet show, car show, food stall  , sketching, painting, singing, and indoor and outdoor games (carom, chess, table tennis, football, cricket and volley ball ).

Festival was attended by a large number of students and faculty members, on opening ceremony Brig. (Retd) Javed Tipu  thoroughly enjoyed and highly applauded the display of brilliant work done by the students of university.

In closing remarks, Vice chancellor, Sarhad University Prof.Dr.Salim-ur-Rehman congratulated on the success of spring festival and winners of the event. He was highly impressed by the multitalented participants and enthusiastic audience. He appreciated the hard work of organizers for conducting spring festival and sports gala successfully.
