An orientation ceremony for the 2nd batch of MSN Scholars enrolled under the arrangements of Institute of Nursing Sciences, Sarhad University, Peshawar was held today.
Prof. Dr. Salim-ur-Rehman, Vice Chancellor, Sarhad University, was the Chief Guest.
Other high ranking officials including Director-INS, Director-SIAHS, Registrar, Coordinators, Faculty Members and newly enrolled Scholars also participated in the ceremony.
The Vice Chancellor, while talking on the occasion stressed upon the scholars to focus on their studies and research. He said that research is the essence of postgraduate studies. Thus their active participation in classes and research activities will provide them an ample opportunity to become useful researchers. He said that nursing is a dedicated profession, which needs untiring efforts at studies, clinical and research stages. The Scholars should take full advantage and benefit from the knowledge of their teachers during their course of studies, he concluded.
Later, a cake cutting ceremony was also held to mark the event memorable.
