Scholars call for more research, emerging trends


Participants of an international conference stressed the need for more research in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

The conference titled 11th Conference of IEEE on Emerging Technologies in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science was organized by Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology, CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Islamabad at the Garrison Club Peshawar.

Vice-Chancellor of Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology Prof Dr Saleem ur Rehman, who inaugurated the event, said that engineering and computer science played tremendous role in the countrys development and the government should pay much heed to this sector. He said that students of both universities would learn from the experience of the scientists who had come from various parts of the world.

Internationally renowned scholars from 27 countries participated in the conference. The scholars presented their research papers for higher education and more research in the field of emerging trends in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The conference aimed to inspire students to explore new areas of research in emerging technologies.

President CECOS University Muhammad Tanveer Javed said, Students from both CECOS and Sarhad universities will learn from experts from across the globe. Speaking on the occasion.He awarded shields and certificates to the participants and appreciated efforts to hold a session that involves international speakers.
